Please donate to make the names-display at Toronto City Hall of those killed in 1916 in WWI a reality.
The proposed display at Toronto City Hall will show the names of soldiers killed in 1916 from:
THE CZECH REPUBLIC
THE UNITED KINGDOM
THE BRITISH INDIAN ARMY
Each name represents a life shortened by war, a son mourned by his family and a person lost to his community. Each name is cut in stone on grave markers and memorials scattered across the world. Help us bring the names together and see each one etched in lights at Toronto City Hall this fall.
OUR GOAL is $9,500 each year to pay for equipment rental and technician time.
OUR TIMELINE is November 11, 2016. Tax receipts will be provided.
OUR PROGRESS TO DATE: $6,900.00
